Ryan's Well Water Bottles For Sale
Ryan's Well Water Bottles For Sale
Ryan's well is an organization that raises money to build wells in Haiti, Uganda, Togo, Burkina Faso, Ghana and Kenya. A shallow well in Uganda costs between $ 5,000-$6,500 Canadian dollars. A deep well can cost $15,000 or more depending on the region. We are selling Ryan's well water bottles for $10 each by the front doors at lunch recess and after school. The sale ends on April 20th.

Our Water Haikus
This morning we went to Grade 4 and we wrote some water Haikus with our Grade 4 buddies. Here is the link to the Haiku website we looked at find out what a Haiku is like. We found out that a Haiku is like a sentence pattern. The first line has 5 syllables, the second line has 7 syllables and the last line has 5 syllables again. We have left our water Haikus as comments. Please leave us your Haiku too!

Our Grade 2 Clean Water Project
The Grade 2 classes have been talking about clean water in our Science classes. We want to encourage other people to keep our water clean. Here is how we started our project:
First, we brainstormed all of the different communities we are part of and can communicate with. We want to try to get them to change their actions and attitudes toward using water.
Then, we brainstormed all of the ways we can communicate and decided that a blog is the best way to communicate with all of the people in our communities.
We hope you enjoy our blog and will learn something new about keeping water clean.
Cheers,
The Grade 2 Team
